Lion Brand Homespun Scarf

Lion Brand Homespun yarn!  

This was always one of my mainstays when I was a crocheter  Bulky, works up fast- but could I weave with it?

I warped up Posy, my trusty 8 inch Ashford SampleIt using the 5 dent heddle.  It was a quick weave!  

This was easier to weave with than it is to knit or crochet with!

Homespun Scarf

Approximately 72" long and 7.25" wide with 4 inches of fringe

Plain weave

Rigid Heddle loom with at least 8" weaving width

5 dent heddle

Shuttle

6 oz (1 skein) Lion Brand Homespun MC  (Deco) (warp and weft)

1 oz (approx 31 yds)  Lion Brand Homespun Color A (Gothic) (warp only)

Warp length 113 inches

Warp using the direct warping method as follows:

15 ends MC

10 ends Color A

15 ends MC

Using MC, weave in plain weave for 86 inches.

Cut from loom

Handwash, hang to dry

Trim fringe to 4"
